Art. 192. Si el que fuere condenado a la pena de multa no la pagare oportunamente, se le convertirá en arresto, a razón de un día por cada peso de multa; pero aun después de decretada la conmutación, puede el penado pagar la multa o la parte proporcional respectiva y queda libre del arresto.
