Asimismo facúltase al Gobierno Nacional para convenir con el Banco de la República la consolidación de su deuda interna, y para asumir y financiar, con el mismo Banco la deuda que en junio 30 de 1973 tenía el Instituto de Mercadeo Agropecuario, ocasionada en el suministro de productos alimenticios básicos. La Junta Monetaria fijará características de esta financiación.
