Art. 12. Todas las adjudicaciones de terrenos baldíos que se hagan en lo sucesivo i que midan una superficie mayor de doscientas hectaras, se harán en lotes cuadrados, de manera que el funcionario encargado de dar la posesion de ellos pueda en cada caso rectificar la medida de cualquiera de sus lados. Cuando la adjudicacion comprenda una superficie de mas de cinco mil hectaras, el agrimensor que haga la mensura deberá determinar la posicion astronómica del terreno.
