Consejo Nacional de Seguridad y Convivencia Ciudadana sesionará de manera ordinaria cada seis (6) meses, y de manera extraordinaria, cuando las circunstancias lo ameriten, previa convocatoria realizada por la Secretaría Técnica, a solicitud del Presidente de la República, o del Ministerio del Interior, del Ministerio de Defensa Nacional, y/o del Consejero Presidencial para la Seguridad Nacional.
