El Director es la máxima autoridad ejecutiva del ITEC y deberá tener las siguientes calidades
Poseer título universitario o de tecnólogo especializado;
Haber sido profesor en instituciones tecnológicas o universitarias, durante cinco (5) años por lo menos, o haber ejercido la profesión con excelente reputación y buen crédito por el mismo lapso.
