Son únicas excusas legítimas para servir el cargo de vocal en los Consejos de Guerra:
La enfermedad grave.
La edad de más de sesenta años.
Tener una comisión urgente o servicio extraordinario que desempeñar en el acto mismo de la celebración del juicio.
Las excusas se comprobarán plenamente ante la autoridad que hizo el nombramiento.
