Con el fin de vincular a la Universidad Pedagógica de Colombia, con sede en Tunja, a la experimentación de los nuevos planteles de estudio recomendados por el plan Integral de Educación, concédese el carácter de plantel piloto al Instituto de Bachillerato “Miguel Jiménez López”, anexo a la misma Universidad.
