Para ser Miembro del Tribunal Seccional de Etica Optométrica, se requiere ser colombiano de nacimiento y optómetra; gozar de reconocida solvencia moral e idoneidad profesional y haber ejercido la optometría por espacio no inferior a ocho (8) años continuos, o haber desempeñado la cátedra universitaria de facultades de optometría legalmente reconocida por el Estado, por lo menos por cinco (5) años.
