Pérdida, hurto o destrucción total de un vehículo . En el evento de pérdida, hurto o destrucción del vehículo, su propietario tendrá derecho a remplazarlo por otro, bajo el mismo contrato de vinculación dentro del término de un (1) año contado a partir de la fecha en que ocurrió el hecho. Si el contrato de vinculación vence antes de este término, se entenderá prorrogado hasta el cumplimiento del año. En el entretanto y para efectos de la capacidad mínima exigida a la empresa, no se tendrá en cuenta este vehículo. ( Decreto 170 de 2001, artículo 53 ).
