Artículo séptimo. Para proveer a su conservación o adquisición para el estado, el Departamento Nacional de Turismo adelantara los estudios sobre los monumentos históricos, casas o lugares especialmente ligados a la vida nacional, construcciones antiguas, museos o conexiones de objetos históricos, sitios de belleza natural, parque arqueológicos, cementerios indígenas y fuentes termo-minerales que, de conformidad con el articulo 4º de la Ley 70 de 1946, deben declararse con función educativa o turística.
