Para los efectos de que trata este Decreto, se entiende por vehículos de servicio público, no sólo los homologados y matriculados para dicho servicio, sino los matriculados como de servicio particular pero que prestan servicios que participan de las características del servicio público, como los que transportan estudiantes, asalariados, turismo, carga, reparten productos a domicilio por los que se recibe una contraprestación económica.
