Los penados con multas, que fueren insolventes, o que no las paguen oportunamente, serán castigados con un día de arresto por cada cuatro pesos de multa que deben pagar, sin computar fracciones, pero cuando la cuantía no llegue a cuatro pesos, serán siempre castigados con un día de arresto.
