°. Control tributario . El Ministerio de Transporte, a través de su base de datos cotejará los Certificados expedidos con las importaciones realizadas, y cuando detecte alguna inconsistencia enviará la documentación y evidencias al área de Fiscalización Aduanera de la Unidad Administrativa Especial Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales (DIAN).

Parágrafo

Para efectos de validar el CREI, las dependencias competentes de la UAE Dirección de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales (DIAN) tendrán acceso directo al sistema RUNT para consultar los Certificados expedidos.
