Ascensos Generales y Oficiales de Insignia. Para ascender a los grados de Mayor General o Vicealmirante y General de Almirante, el Gobierno escogerá libremente entre los Brigadieres Generales o Contralmirantes y los Mayores Generales o Vicealmirantes, que tengan las condiciones generales y específicas que este estatuto determina.
