º. En el caso de que alguno ó algunos de tales jurisconsultos fueran elegidos Senadores ó Representantes, ó Diputados de Asambleas Departamentales, no por eso quedará terminado el contrato con aquél ó aquéllos que se hallen en tal caso; pero mientras que desempeñen tales funciones, no devengará ó devengarán las asignaciones de que trata el artículo anterior.
