La Nación, por intermedio del Instituto de Crédito Territorial, procederá inmediatamente a reconstruir el sector comercial del Puerto de Guapi, destruido por el incendio del 4 de diciembre de 1964. En consecuencia, el Instituto urbanizará la zona devastada, y dará las mayores facilidades de crédito a los damnificados para la reconstrucción de sus viviendas.
