El artículo 242 del Código Penal, quedará así:
Artículo 242 . Ilícito aprovechamiento de recursos biológicos . El que ilícitamente transporte, comercie, aproveche, introduzca o se beneficie de recursos fáunicos, forestales, florísticos, hidrobiológicos o genéticos de especie declarada extinta, amenazada o en vía de extinción, incurrirá en prisión de tres a siete años y multa de 50 a 300 salarios mínimos legales mensuales vigentes.
