La Universidad está constituida básicamente por el claustro de profesores y los estudiantes, orgánicamente por las facultades, escuelas profesionales, departamentos e institutos que actualmente le están adscritos y por aquellas dependencias docentes e investigativas que en lo futuro se establezcan dentro del alcance de su autonomía y mediante los tramites y régimen del gobierno interno.
