ART 62. Incumbe al padre ó á la madre que ha reconocido al hijo natural, los gastos de su crianza y educación.

Se incluirán en ésta, por lo menos, la enseñanza primaria y el aprendizaje de una profesión ú oficio.

Si ambos padres le han reconocido, reglará el Juez en caso necesario, lo que cada uno de ellos, según sus facultades y circunstancias, deba contribuir para la crianza y educación del hijo.

El inciso 2o. del artículo 257 del Código es aplicable á los bienes de los hijos naturales.

Son igualmente aplicables á los padres ó hijos naturales las disposiciones de los artículos 258, 259 y 261, 262, 263, 264, 265, 266, 267, 268, inclusive, del Código.
