º ACTIVIDAD FINANCIERA DE LAS COOPERATIVAS ESPECIALIZADAS DE AHORRO Y CREDITO. De conformidad con el artículo 99 de la Ley 79 de 1988, las Cooperativas Especializadas de Ahorro y Crédito podrán ejercer la actividad financiera de captar ahorros en depósitos de terceros y otorgarles préstamos a éstos si así lo consagran expresamente sus estatutos, cumplen los requisitos establecidos en este Decreto y reciben autorización previa del Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Cooperativas para desempeñar la citada actividad financiera.
