Firmada la matrícula y pagado et derecho correspondiente, el Intendente ó Inspector expedirá la patente ó permiso de navegación por un término que no excederá de un año, salvo el caso de accidente ó siniestro que hiciere necesaria la inmediata reparación del vehículo, y por consiguiente la práctica de un nuevo reconocimiento dentro del término de la patente en curso.
