TEXTO CORRESPONDIENTE A

LEGISLACIÓN ANTERIOR

Artículo cuarto. Contra la resolución que dicte el funcionario de policía podrá interponer el interesado recurso de apelación para ante el Ministerio de Fomento, dentro de los tres días siguientes a su notificación personal o dentro de los diez días siguientes a su notificación por edicto.

Para conceder la apelación, el interesado deberá consignar el valor de la multa en la respectiva Administración o Recaudación de Hacienda Nacional, dentro del término que se señale en el auto que admita el recurso, término que en ningún caso podrá ser mayor de cinco (5) días.
