Cuando el nacimiento se efectúe en un viaje o en un lugar en donde la madre no tiene su domicilio, extendida el acta de nacimiento, deberá el funcionario ante quien se extienda, pasar una copia al Gobernador del Departamento, Intendente o Comisario, para que por su conducto se dirija al Notario o Alcalde del domicilio de la madre, a fin de que se copie en el registro de nacimientos y se archive el acta remitida.
