El Instituto mantendrá como disponibilidades en caja o a su orden únicamente las sumas indispensables para cubrir los gastos normales de administración y el pago de las prestaciones inmediatas y los servicios u obligaciones de más próximo cumplimiento. Las disponibilidades que excedan los límites máximos fijados por los reglamentos del Instituto deberán ser invertidas en forma que produzcan utilidad o renta.
