La Federación Colombiana de Deporte para Sordos es un organismo deportivo de nivel nacional con personería jurídica y reconocimiento deportivo, de naturaleza privada, cuya organización y reglamentación se realizará conforme a los lineamientos que fije el Comité Internacional de Deportes para Sordos y con sujeción a lo establecido en la Constitución Política y la normatividad vigente.
