El pago de los certificados de que trata el artículo anterior, se verificará individual y directamente á los acreedores, lo mismo que las gratificaciones por antigüedad en el servicio y las sumas provenientes de enganche ó reenganche. Sólo en caso de muerte de los agraciados podrán cobrarse estos documentos por los herederos legítimos, previo endoso que de ellos hará el Ministerio de Guerra.
