La deuda contraída por el Fondo de Garantías de Instituciones Financieras con el Banco de la República en desarrollo de las Resoluciones 104 de 1985 y 32 de 1987 expedidas por la Junta Monetaria, será asumida por la Nación y convertida en deuda pública en las mismas condiciones de plazo e interés que rigen para la deuda consolidada entre el Gobierno Nacional y el Banco de la República.
