Desde el 20 de julio de 1955, la Asamblea Nacional Constituyente, además de las funciones que le son propias, ejercerá las atribuidas por la Constitución y las leyes al Congreso y a cada una de las Cámaras. El período de la presente Asamblea Nacional Constituyente terminará el 7 de agosto de 1958.
