-Efectividad del seguro

El seguro por muerte a que se refiere este capítulo será satisfecho por la entidad de previsión social a la cual estuvo afiliado el empleado oficial al tiempo de su fallecimiento, dentro de los tres (3) meses siguientes, a partir de la fecha en que se ordena el reconocimiento y pago correspondiente.

Si el empleado oficial no estuviere afiliado a ninguna entidad de previsión social al tiempo de su fallecimiento, el seguro por muerte se pagará directamente por la entidad, establecimiento o empresa oficial a la cual prestaba sus servicios el causante, dentro del mismo término señalado en el inciso anterior.
