PRESENTACIÓN DE SOLICITUDES. El artículo 8o de la Ley 43 de 1993, quedará así: "ARTÍCULO 8o. Las solicitudes de Carta de Naturaleza se presentarán ante el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores o las Gobernaciones. Las solicitudes de Inscripción de Latinoamericanos y del Caribe por Nacimiento se formularán ante las alcaldías de sus respectivos domicilios o ante el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores. Las solicitudes presentadas ante las Gobernaciones o las Alcaldías, serán remitidas al Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores para su decisión."
