Corresponde a la Subdirección de Desarrollo de la Educación Superior División Académica ICFES, calificar las obras didácticas, técnicas o científicas cuando estas versen sobre temas de educación superior y a la Dirección General de Capacitación y perfeccionamiento Docente, Currículo y Medios Educativos del Ministerio de Educación, la calificación de las obras cuando estas traten sobre temas de educación no superior.
