Las prestaciones establecidas en el Decreto-ley 1295 de 1994 y en esta ley prescriben:
Las mesadas pensionales en el término de tres (3) años;
Las demás prestaciones en el término de un (1) año.
La prescripción se cuenta desde el momento en que se le define el derecho al trabajador.
