La omisión de lo preceptuado por esta Ley no es causa de nulidad de los instrumentos en que se haya incurrido, pero el Notario ó funcionario responsable será castigado con la suspensión de su empleo por uno á tres meses, y además con una multa igual al importe del impuesto que haya dejado de cubrirse hasta la fecha del otorgamiento del instrumento de que se trate.
