ARTICULO 2o . Objetivos. - El Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario, ICA, tiene como objetivo contribuir al desarrollo sostenido del sector agropecuario mediante la investigación, la transferencia de tecnología y la prevención de riesgos sanitarios, biológicos y químicos para las especies animales y vegetales. Las actividades de investigación y de transferencia de tecnología serán ejecutadas principalmente mediante la asociación con personas naturales o jurídicas.
