Art. 1.° El pié de fuerza del Gobierno de la Union en tiempo de paz, será hasta de mil cuatrocientos veinte hombres de tropa con los respectivos Jefes i Oficiales.

Parágrafo

Esta fuerza será distribuida i situada de la manera i en los puntos donde lo estime conveniente el Poder Ejecutivo, avisándola previamente al Jefe del Estado a donde fuere destinada.
