Los bancos, corporaciones de ahorro y vivienda, corporaciones financieras, almacenes generales de depósitos, compañías de seguros de vida, compañías de seguros generales, compañías reaseguradoras, compañías de financiamiento comercial, sociedades de capitalización y los demás establecimientos de crédito que defina como tales la Superintendencia Bancaria e Instituciones Financieras reconocidas por la ley, son sujetos del impuesto municipal de industria y comercio de acuerdo con lo prescrito en este Decreto.
