Para ser reconocidos los miembros de los órganos de administrativos de clubes, ligas o federaciones deberán acreditar la participación en un curso obligatorio sobre, administración deportiva, a cargo del Instituto Colombiano de la Juventud y el Deporte (Coldeportes) o las Juntas, Administradoras, Seccionales de Deportes, según la competencia Igual requisito rige para gerentes o administradores de los organismos deportivos. Para los integrantes de las selecciones nacionales, se hará un curso obligatorio que atienda aspectos culturales, éticos, técnicos, deportivos y de relaciones humanas.
