Cuando se compruebe que el representante o representantes de alguna institución de utilidad común han violado sus estatutos o reglamentos, o las leyes, ordenanzas, acuerdos o decretos relacionados con la institución, o que hayan efectuado actos con fines distintos de aquellos para los cuales fue creada, el Gobierno podrá decretar o pedir su separación, sin perjuicio de las demás sanciones a que haya lugar conforme a la ley.
