Los Oficiales y Suboficiales que sean seleccionados por la Dirección General de la Policía Nacional con el in de hacer cursos en Universidades o Institutos, para apoyo de los diferentes servicios de la Policía Nacional, durante el tiempo de estudios quedan eximidos de presentar concurso o adelantar cursos para ascenso siempre y cuando hayan suscrito el contrato de servicios correspondiente y demuestran haberlos aprobado.
