ARTICULO 87. Reservas o fondos patrimoniales. Las reservas o fondos patrimoniales representan recursos retenidos por el ente económico, tomados de sus utilidades o excedentes, con el fin de satisfacer requerimientos legales, estatutarios u ocasionales. Las reservas o fondos patrimoniales destinados a enjugar pérdidas generales o específicas solo se pueden afectar con dichas pérdidas, una vez éstas hayan sido presentadas en el estado de resultados.
