El Instituto Colombiano de Crédito Educativo y Estudios Técnicos en el Exterior, ICETEX, en desarrollo de su objeto social, podrá realizar, además de las funciones contempladas en su Estatuto Reorgánico, Decreto-ley 3155 de 1968 (diciembre 25) las siguientes:

Captar fondos provenientes del ahorro privado y reconocer intereses sobre los mismos.

Administrar directamente los fondos o celebrar contratos de fideicomiso, garantía, agencia o pago a que hubiere lugar.
