Como reconocimiento histórico a la tierra natal de la heroína, ordénase la reconstrucción del Parque de La Pola, situado en la plaza principal de Guaduas, y la reparación y conservación de la casa donde nació Policarpa en la misma ciudad. Para el efecto, destínase la suma de cien mil pesos ($ 100.000.00).
