El INPA programará anualmente las investigaciones pesqueras que se requieran para orientar sus labores de acuerdo con lo establecido en el Plan Nacional de Desarrollo Pesquero. Las demás entidades de la Administración Pública que tienen injerencia en la actividad pesquera, se sujetarán a los lineamientos que señale el INPA con el fin de lograr la integración y la racionalización de las investigaciones para el desarrollo pesquero.
