Del Director . El Director del Instituto es agente del Presidente de la República, y por lo tanto de su libre nombramiento y remoción, será su representante legal. Para el desempeño de este cargo se requiere ser colombiano de nacimiento y tener título universitario en materias relacionadas con las actividades del Instituto y acreditar experiencia administrativa no inferior a tres años.
