A cada División de Ejército le corresponde una Intendencia Militar, que llevará el número de la División y cuyo Jefe será el intendente de División. El radio de acción de la Intendencia se extiende a todos los ramos de la administración militar y a los asuntos económicos referentes a las autoridades oficiales y empleados Militares de la División que no pertenezcan a un Cuerpo de tropa.
