La inspección y vigilancia a que se refiere el artículo anterior consiste en la facultad que tiene el ICFES para practicar visitas, examinar y solicitar libros, cuentas, contratos, estados financieros, nóminas, presupuestos y ejecuciones presupuestales y demás documentos, comprobantes e Informes financieros necesarios para comprobar la adecuada utilización de los recursos para los fines previstos en la ley y en los estatutos de la institución.
