º. Se autoriza a las cajas de compensación familiar a otorgar subsidio para aplicar a planes de mejoramiento de vivienda que incluyan la ampliación de las soluciones para superar condiciones de hacinamiento, hasta llegar a la vivienda mínima, siempre y cuando los estudios de demanda evidencien que dicho componente es preponderante. En todo caso, las cajas asignarán subsidio prioritariamente para hogares que requieran superar las carencias básicas de la vivienda que señala el artículo 18 del Decreto 706 de 1995.
