Es entendido que la compañía estará en libertad de determinar las líneas en que haya de prestar sus servicios. El Gobierno, podrá exigir, en cualquier tiempo, pero con la debida anticipación, el establecimiento de determinada línea, en cuyo caso el Gobierno podrá comprometerse, por contrato especial, a indemnizar a la compañía por los perjuicios o pérdidas que ésta pudiera recibir con motivo del servicio de esa nueva línea.
