Articulo 38. La adquisición de bienes se hará conforme a las disposiciones del decreto 2370 de 1968 cuando para determinada clase de ellos así lo disponga la junta directiva del instituto nacional de provisiones con la aprobación del gobierno. Las inversiones del instituto en cuantía de quinientos mil pesos ($ 500.000.00) o mas, requerirán el voto favorable e indelegable del ministro de desarrollo económico.
