El Congreso de la República de Colombia se asocia al pueblo colombiano para rendir homenaje y exaltar la memoria del exsenador y expresidente del Congreso, Ingeniero Civil Jorge Aurelio lragorri Hormaza, quien se distinguió por su permanente dedicación al servicio de las comunidades del Departamento del Cauca y toda Colombia desde muchos y muy diversos escenarios; servidor público ejemplar, voz imperecedera e inolvidable en el Congreso de la República y trabajador incansable por las familias colombianas y la mejora de su calidad de vida.
